Privacy Policy for AgilePlanner

Effective Date: 09.08.2026

1. Introduction

Welcome to AgilePlanner (“we,” “our,” or “us”). We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your information with care. This Privacy Policy explains what stays on your device, what leaves it, and what we never see.

2. Your Planning Data Stays Yours

Everything you create in AgilePlanner — sprints, teams, team members, tasks, capacity and load figures — is stored locally on your device and mirrored to your own private iCloud container through Apple CloudKit, so that it syncs across your devices.

We have no access to that container. Your sprint titles, task descriptions, team member names and any other content you enter are never transmitted to us, never stored on our servers, and are never included in the analytics described below.

3. Information We Collect

a. User-Provided Information. The application does not ask for and does not collect your name, email address, or any other personal information. The only exception is when you choose to contact us yourself: the “Feedback” button in Preferences opens your own email application with a pre-filled address — nothing is sent automatically, and only if you decide to send the message do we receive your email address and whatever you wrote in it.

b. Usage Data. We collect anonymous statistics about how the application is used — which features are opened, when common in-app actions are performed, and events related to the subscription screen and completed purchases. These records show only that an action took place. They never include the content you enter, and they carry no payment details.

c. Device and Application Information. Usage records are accompanied by basic technical context such as platform, operating system version, device model, application version, and language settings.

d. Pseudonymous Identifier. So that repeat usage can be distinguished from many different users, each record carries an identifier derived from the vendor-specific device identifier Apple provides to us. It is transmitted only as an irreversible hash. It cannot be turned back into your identity, your device, or a way of contacting you; it differs from the identifier any other developer receives; and it is reset when you delete the application.

We do not use the Advertising Identifier (IDFA) and we do not track you across other companies’ apps or websites. For that reason the application never shows an App Tracking Transparency prompt.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

AgilePlanner offers an optional auto-renewable subscription (“Pro”). All payment processing is handled by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive, store, or process your payment information, and we never see your credit card or billing details.

Your subscription status is stored on your device and is removed when you uninstall the app. We do not collect, share, or sell your subscription details.

5. How We Use This Information

a. To Provide Services: to deliver the functionality you use — managing sprints, teams, tasks, and capacity within the application.

b. To Operate and Improve the Application: to understand how the application is used overall and to diagnose problems, so that we can maintain and improve it.

We do not use this information for advertising or profiling, we do not sell it, and we do not share it with data brokers.

6. Analytics Provider

Usage statistics are collected through TelemetryDeck, a privacy-focused analytics service that processes this data on our behalf and under our instructions. Its infrastructure is located in the European Union and the United States, with transfers governed by EU standard contractual clauses. You can read their privacy policy at telemetrydeck.com/privacy.

We do not provide them with any personal information about you, because the application does not collect any.

7. What We Never Collect

For clarity, AgilePlanner never collects:

We also never sell your data, in any form, to anyone.

8. Data Storage and Security

Your planning data is stored locally on your device and in your private iCloud container, protected by Apple’s account and device security. Usage statistics are transmitted over an encrypted connection and stored by our analytics provider in anonymous, aggregated form.

We employ industry-standard measures to protect information from unauthorized access, disclosure, or alteration. However, no method of data transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee the absolute security of your data.

9. Your Choices

You have the right to:

Use the Application: you can use AgilePlanner without providing any personal information.

Delete Your Data: “Remove All Data” in Preferences erases your sprints, teams, members, tasks, and capacity records from the device and from your iCloud container.

Control Syncing: you can stop syncing at any time by disabling iCloud for AgilePlanner in your device’s system settings.

Ask Us: if you have any question or request regarding the information described here, write to support@bittech.me and we will answer.

10. Updates to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. You should regularly check our website for any significant changes to the Privacy Policy.
